Secret Care Cafe Third Anniversary!

Woah! A 3rd anniversary already! 3rd year since I started working on the game week after week, constantly. I never thought we would get this far! As mentioned before, I thought we would be don’t already but even constant work isn’t enough to finish everything that I wanted.
But as long as I have you I know we can do this!

As a celebration I’ve prepared special wallpapers for all of you guys, with all the girls that could fit on one screen and I also added a few other special wallpapers. I hope you will enjoy them!

All those wallpapers in ZIP: MIXDROP

I’m very thankful for all of you. For all your support over those years… that I can even say this sentence ‘your support over those years’ is magical to me. Thank you so much, to all of you who openly talk with me about the game, help me out, support me both monetary and morally and to those who are just silently downloading the game from time to time and enjoying it that way. You are all very important to me and I wouldn’t be here without all of you.
I promise to continue doing my best, to provide you with the best content, both nsfw and sfw, that I can make.

So some of you might be wondering, what is happening behind the SCC development, what I’m doing outside of constant updates?
Here is a little insight for those interested:

First things first, two big events are being created as mentioned some time ago, a big Birthday event for Sergil, where many of his female friends will take part in, in a nsfw sort of way of course. Another event is the group client event with a big banging. This event will perform a little differently, so the future maids will be also able to join in. Basically, we will have a main cafe map, but instead of serving customers, you will be able to see and interact with sexy animations, seeing a short event for each and maybe even join a few of them.
They are not my priority so I squeeze a few hours of work whenever I have some free time or I feel like I’m a bit tired of coding. They will arrive soon enough!

I’ve just added a side boss, Anastasia to the game and I already have on my schedule a new boss, that is Main Story specific. We focused a lot lately on side content, like GH animations, now we have to spend some time on main story and character development stories. After a few events like that, another clients’ events! So I still have a lot of work ahead of me! I hope you will look forward to it!

Regarding music to the game I worked with a few fiverr creators already, but the last one wasn’t very satisfying work, once again reminding me, that the person the most interested in this project is no other than I. I will again try to get a few interesting tracks in the game using some other talents, in the meantime I looked around to learn more about music creation. Up to this point I was just winging it, as you probably could hear from music I’ve done for the game. I found music lessons, where I will be able to learn some theories and practices for not so much, for an hour a week. This is something I will be taking in the not so far future, to learn more about music, how to create it and make it better, for both SCC and future projects.

While I mention future projects, here is a little more information about that. Slowly, but steadily, we are getting closer and closer to the final update for SCC, so I started to look forward to my next project.
I want my next game to also use anime style, in a 3d world (like Genshin Impact, Blue Protocol or GFL2, but not as open or vast of course). That way, nsfw animations won’t take up the most of the game size, as it is now. I wanted to create this game in Unity, but there was a big drama lately with the Unity devs and unfortunately, they lost the trust of many, including me. I’ve chosen to try out Unreal, over Godot, as Unreal has many tutorials online. I’ve already spent some hours on learning UE5 and Blender on my own. After spending a few days on learning basics and after looking into more detailed tutorials trying to learn about the optimal way to code, I’ve reached out to some professionals in Unreal Engine and found a person who is willing to tutor me. He is very knowledgeable and even has a reach into the CDProject Red developers, knowing how they work and their practices. Right now we spend 2 hours a week on learning basics, best coding practices, slowly moving forward.
I have a few game ideas, I already settled on the next one, but don’t expect seeing anything anytime soon. I’ve learned GMS2 on my own, mostly without tutorials and you can see hiccups and how heavy the game might be on the hardware even though it doesn’t use 3d graphics. I want to and I will do my best to avoid that in my future games.
Don’t worry, it won’t be another open-world-sandbox game. I know what I’m good at and know my limits. I’m also not focusing on this ‘new’ game until SCC is finished, but I wanted to already start learning about the new engine before finishing SCC. That way, after the final update and maybe after a month extra, I will be able to come back to you with a very early game version of the new game and we can resume the weekly/biweekly update schedule as it is now with SCC.
This won’t be easy, but if it would be, everyone would be doing it.

But just to make sure it’s understood correctly, SCC is my priority now and I will make it the best I can! The only thing that will change it is its final release!

Again, thank you so much, for all your support. Let’s make this 3rd year even sexier!
New game update will be up tomorrow or on Sunday. See you very soon!

Eternally grateful,
Alex
