What happened.

Hi all,

My dad had surgery. It was delayed two weeks. I flew up to help out. He had compilations. It seemed positive at the time. I returned and my sister flew up to him. He got worse and the family went to see him, a last chance visit. This was last Wednesday. The 4th. I bought the ticket that day and was at the airport an hour later. I was waiting to board the plane when I got the phone call.

The trip became about clearing out his rental apartment and making arrangements. I’m home now. Going forward I will not have to leave town. He was only away due to medical issues.
