Sins Of Night 2nd Anniversary & 2026 Plans!
Hello sinners! Sin’s Of Night will soon be turning two years old, so as usual it’s time to recap the year and let you in on what’s coming in 2026! Thank you all for your generous support, especially given how rocky this year has been. It means a lot, and I hope to repay it by making the coming year better.
2025 Recap
In last year’s anniversary post, I outlined an intent to shift focus onto character content. This didn’t exactly go as planned – the year started with a delay due to the combat system, and Kate required a substantial investment into the main story content in order to make her accessible. Again, I apologise for this, and I’m working to make up for it in the coming year.
This year, we did see the introduction of an important system, and the work on Hazel and Kate, so I hope you still had some fun along the way. I fell well short of getting Evelyn and Harley updated, but I haven’t abandoned those plans!
As you probably gathered by some of the happenings this year, it’s been a terrible one on a personal level. I’m hoping the family circumstances improve in 2026, but that is of course out of my control. I can promise to do my best whatever happens, however.
2026 Plans
For 2026, I’m leaning even more into the character focus, with the intent of delivering some of the good stuff you’re all patiently waiting for. The beneficiaries of this will be Evelyn and Harley.
You already know about the coming Evelyn content stage, but after that I’ll do the same for Harley, and take turns on them until they both reach their end game vice / virtue stages. Sprinkled between will be smaller releases to do each stage’s corresponding sharing content.
Broadly, the release schedule will look like this:

Quite a bit, but we’re already about 30% through number 1, and the sharing releases I hope to get out in a single month’s time frame. I’m trying to optimize development and bring the production of each of these down as much as possible, but it’ll still take us into 2027 to see it realised. Should be worth it though, for what this will enable me to provide content wise.
Once Evelyn and Harley are in their end game, I’ll be free to update them little by little with that end game content, while working on other characters. I may even be able to let you guys vote on what gets priority.
Now, this does mean that other characters will have to languish for a while, but I think it will be better overall to focus my efforts for a while instead of spreading it out it thinly as it has been over the last couple of years. The other characters will get similar treatment once their turn comes.
Quickly, I want to address any concerns about the game’s scope. I am painfully aware of this, having already dropped a number of ideas and story elements that I wanted to include. Going forward, I am planning around what is necessary, and stripping out anything that isn’t. This should at least mean the game reaches a finished state, even in a diminished form. I’ll keep the number of characters down, the story in check, and restrict additional features to small-scale stuff. I hope this satisfies any worries. The grander vision can come after the important parts are all done.
Conclusion
So that’s the plan for the coming year. I hope you approve or at least see the logic in it. I believe it’s the best approach to round out the game’s content right now.
I’ll be taking the usual time off over Christmas since I can’t work while I’m away visiting family. Usually, this means about 2 weeks of hold on development, and also that there will be a small delay in the next update post.
On that front, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thank you all for your support, and I hope you’ll stick around for a better 2026! I also bribed convinced a certain someone to model for a special Christmas card.

Love & Vice 5th Anniversary!
Never when I started this journey did I think I’d be writing a fifth anniversary post. Pretty nuts, and I wish I could say it was for all the right reasons, but well, it’s more of a mixed bag! Things have slowed down quite a bit, but we are still moving toward that finish line.
Before I get into the usual, I’ll just give a special thanks and shout-out to anyone still playing and supporting this project, doubly so if you’ve been here from the beginning. I hope you won’t be too disappointed when it ends.
R17 Progress
For a quick update on the next release, since the last post, I’ve finished the Atonia porn career content, and I’m currently in the process of getting it in the game proper. It’s a good length, which means a lot of spell-checking and coding to get it done.
I’ve also started laying some of the groundwork for moving on to the Atonia club content. I’m hoping to get a chunk of that done before the end of the year so that I can get R17 out as quickly as possible after that. There will still be the matter of Mel’s club conclusion, but I’m not exactly sure how extensive that will be just yet.
2025 Recap
So this year ended up being entirely dedicated to getting the game to the endings – not exactly how I envisioned progress would go. Then again, I didn’t expect to make the giant Lydia party which took up the majority of the time.
I have also been fighting the inevitable burnout from working on this game for almost six years at this point, but we’re too close to the end now for me to give up on it. I’m quite confident I can manage it; being able to tick off each component of the endings one by one will keep me going!
Overall, I wish progress had been faster, but I’m pretty happy with the content itself. I imagine the rest of it will go much the same.
2026 Plan
Once R17 is out, I’ll be focusing my attention on implementing the game endings. This does mean that there may be some gaps in the game’s content here and there, a small price to pay to get it finished overall, and I can always go back and fix this post-completion if I ever need a side project to work on.
The only open question is how long the endings will actually take to be completed. Before the next anniversary..? God I hope so. But I have a pretty clear idea of what I want it to be, and I’m too stubborn to let it go. So it’ll be a case of however long it takes.
Game End Features
I briefly went over this last year, but I have been laying out the design more officially, so I’ll give you the broad picture again and some extra details.
Main Features
New story events for each main character, capping off their love/lewd progression
Character Intentions – decide how each girl fits into your future
Future Plans – decide where you’re going to live and with whom, and how to raise the necessary funds
Potential Marriage / Lead Girl feature
The Final Ending – a series of short events detailing how the future plays out for all involved
Ending Slides
On top of the above, I want the actual ending slides to take into account your decisions, and what the girls got up to in your play-through. Some of these factors are:
Pregnancy – If a girl is pregnant, and who’s the father
Girl Jobs – How each main and side job affects their future
Relationship – What happens if you chose to break up, or if you got married / started a harem
NTR – How other guys might factor in, especially when combined with other factors (you’ll probably get some choice/influence before hand too)
Extra Stats etc…
You get the idea. There’s a lot I can do here, especially on a girl by girl basis since each one is a little different. I’ll try not to go too crazy, but you might find it fun to create a backup save before setting up the endings so you can experiment. Or maybe it’ll be the perfect time to start that nth play-through…
Conclusion
So that’s everything mostly laid out. Kinda weird to think of it that way, but I hope it’s comforting to know that I’ll be focusing on getting it all finished. Again, I don’t know how long this will take, but I’ll do my best to make it the best send-off for l&V regardless.
