Version 0.4.0 Devlog
Hey guys, so… finally… it’s done. The update is finished and almost ready to see the light. Of course, it still needs a lot of testing, which we’ll focus on during the upcoming week, so now we can finally give a release date: 12/28/2025.
As promised, and keeping our word, we said 12/31/25 or earlier, and earlier it will be (even if only by a couple of days). We’ll also update the tiers so they clearly explain the advantages, release dates, and benefits.
This will be an extensive devlog, explaining everything that’s been done. Since the update will be released on 12/28/25, tiers 7 and 8 will have access to beta testing. If you get the beta, please keep in mind it still needs testing and may require balancing, so expect bugs and errors. If that’s not your thing, we suggest waiting for the following week’s release, which should be much more playable.
That said, we already did a solid 14-hour test (skipping a lot, but testing a lot), and it feels pretty playable at this point.
So, the devlog: (After the devlog we will explain everything you may want to know)

First, we decided to make this update 0.4 instead of 0.3, because 0.3 felt way too small for all the content we added (even version numbers need self-esteem 😅).
🏖️ Beach: We added a brand-new location, the beach, where Angel can go daily (or at least twice a week). It also comes with a new small job to help pay the rent 💸.
Angel works as a car show girl, answering questions so customers decide whether to buy a car or not 🚗. Of course, since the world is rotten, some people will try to push their luck and corrupt our pure Angel 😇.
The content is not huge, but for a start, it is more than enough 👍.
After work, Angel can finally relax a bit, which she really needs in her stressful life 🌊. And yes… a gorgeous girl alone at the beach will never stay alone for long 😏. People will approach her to help with sunscreen 🧴, play games 🎾, or even step in when she gets in trouble 🆘.
🧹 Cleaning: The maid costume is finally here! You can get it after 2 weeks of perfect cleaning. Greg will offer it to Angel, and of course… she has to pay for it. Damn you, Greg 😤.
After that, Angel will clean while wearing the outfit, and some events may trigger during cleaning.
Not gonna lie, this part still needs a lot of polishing and more content. For now, it has a few scenes, all focused on Richard (Dick).
💸 Rent: Greg, the landlord, is getting 2 new debt stages, each with several events. Greg is not fooling around anymore and will push Angel further and further if she fails to pay.
So she better pay up… because if she doesn’t… yeah 😬.
And of course, the rent will keep going up. Because why wouldn’t it? Greg clearly missed the memo about kindness 🏠💀
📸 Camgirl: Our beloved Secret Desires AI will keep pushing Angel to do more and more, slowly crossing lines and testing limits 🤖💗.
Until something happens… and everything changes a bit.
What Angel does next is up to you 👀.
I mean… it can’t be that bad… right…? 😅
🍺 Bar: The bar gets new content too! Sitting events will keep progressing, and after a long wait, the bending events finally get new and sexier content 😏.
Since the poll showed it got a bit repetitive, we added a new minigame: Darts & Dares 🎯. It’s small, simple, but we think very effective.
The dart minigame is affected by many factors, as expected. A drunk Angel will have a much harder time scoring than a sober, calm, rested, and not-molested Angel.
🌙 Night Attacks: There’s not much to say here. We added a few new events, and once again, we don’t want to rush this part. Since night content is usually a bit ahead of the rest, it made sense to expand it now.
Don’t let Kev do whatever he wants. He’s only taking advantage of Angel, and a simple door lock can save her a lot of future trouble 🔐.
🚇 Subway – New Minigame: First things first, the early events (available in 0.2.2) will stay the same.
To create new content, and due to a program issue, we had to rework all existing images and scenes. Since the old dialogue choices felt odd, we built a brand-new system.
Subway travel now works like a light combat system, where Angel can try to fend off the aggressor or let him have his way. The goal is simple: arrive at work on time ⏰.
This adds new mechanics, multiple attack options, different states, and several outcomes.
We also refreshed the Subway menu, making background, people, and sound settings much easier to manage 🎛️.
In the end, you decide if this minigame is here to stay… so no pressure.
🍻 Bartending – New Minigame: Just like before, the bar waitressing game worked well, but it could get a bit repetitive. So we added a new minigame that triggers after meeting a new person.
This minigame will replace waitressing twice a week.
It is calmer and focuses on Angel serving beers to lovely drunkards… and of course, they always want more 🍺😏.
We do not want to spoil too much, but just like the subway minigame, the future of this one depends on you.
That said, we think this minigame will bring some fresh air to the game.
And don’t try to steal from the cashier… that’s wrong. Also, Angel is really bad at poker faces 😅💸
🧠 Skills: We added several new skills, especially for the new minigames, plus a new one for school grades. We also extended Cleaning and Cooking.
High-tier Patreons will get some benefits from these, which we will explain later 👀.
New skills added:
• Cute Nerd (school grades 📚)
• Pure Bartender & Skilled Bartender (bartending minigame 🍻)
• Subway Innocence & Subway Awareness (subway minigame 🚇)
✨ New stuff:
-
🏦 A bank account… Tired of getting robbed by some of your roommates? Worry no more, now you can get robbed by the bank. They won’t call it stealing, of course, they call it interest. You can safely store Angel’s money there… and yes, they charge her for every transaction.
So now your money is safe, with no safe at all! And of course, nobody will ever store money there just to not have it during some events… right…? 👀
-
🎓 College grades: Since the beach was added, with the option to skip college, we had to add this. If Angel’s grades get too low, it’s game over. Just another reason to make you grind endlessly 😇.
Going to school regularly is better than only two or three times a week, and now Angel can study on her computer to improve her grades. The Cute Nerd skill helps a lot. Don’t hate us… it just made sense.
-
📖 Diary: A place to keep track of seen and missed content. Simple but effective. You can see what you have and haven’t seen, grouped by parent categories like Beach content, Bar content, Subway content, and so on.
You can hover items to see their trigger conditions, but… yeah… if you play normally, content will mostly reach Angel by itself. Also, no more “More content coming soon” messages 🙏.
-
🍹 Happy hour at the bar: A few days a week, just to kill the monotony, the bar will have happy hours. Angel will have to run like crazy, customers will be even happier, and of course… they will tip better 💨💸.
-
🍺 Drinks: Patrons now have a new way to interact with Angel: giving her drinks. Not much to say, but once again, something to add more freshness to the waitressing game.
-
🥴 Drunk: If Angel drinks too much, she will pass out and miss the rest of the shift. Not a great outcome… but luckily, nothing bad happens. She just misses some turns and tips.
At least for now… 😅🍻
🔧 Changes:
-
📅 Days now have names: This was needed. Angel still has to work every day, but on Tuesday, Thursday, and weekends, she can also take the part-time job at the beach car agency. Some days will also have different minigames and events. So yeah… it made sense. It was necessary.
-
🎓 Skipping college: Angel can now skip college to get an extra turn to study, train, or visit the beach. Why go to school then? Grades, of course. She has a half scholarship, and if her grades drop too low, she loses it and… GG.
-
⚖️ Balance: We made a lot of balance changes. Too many to list, and honestly, we do not even remember them all. Tips were adjusted heavily, some up, some down. So yes… the game got a big rebalance. We are still chasing that perfect balance 🧪.
-
👗 Clothes at the bar: Fixing clothes now takes 1 turn per piece, and autofix will only fix until Angel feels comfortable, not everything at once. It just made sense.
Sadly… no self-strip option.
At least not yet… 😏
🛠️ QoL – Quality of Life:
Yes, because we don’t hate you. Quite the opposite 😄. We added and tweaked several things to make your life easier… or better. We love you guys, and we’re always open to QoL suggestions ❤️.
-
⭐ Patreon options: Includes benefits that can make life easier… or harder (you can also leave them untouched).
You can individually adjust exhibition, arousal, stress, energy, alcohol, and money gain (faster or slower).
Also included: Money Boost and Skills Boost.
-
🧹 Room dirt icon: Rooms now show a dirt icon when they are not clean, so you instantly know if you forgot something.
-
📸 Secret Desire reminder: A new icon tells you if you forgot to do the daily Secret Desire picture.
-
🧠 Skill toggle: You can now enable or disable Angel’s skills. Maybe you bought one you regret… or any other reason. After reaching level 5 of a skill, you can click it and toggle it on or off.
-
🎥 Bartender minigame FPS: You can now adjust the animation framerate of the bartender minigame.
-
🧭 Menu visibility: Improved menu visibility with switchable backgrounds.
-
🛏️ New sleep frame: Added a cleaner sleep screen, making decisions easier and clearer. Much better than dealing with 32 menu options.
🧩 Other (boring stuff):
-
🛠️ Tons of code has been fixed and improved.
-
✍️ Some lines that were still talking to “you” instead of Angel were corrected.
-
😅 Kev will be… busy in the latest events too.
-
⚖️ Lots of balancing for the bar, the house, and basically everything, to make the game fair… or unfair? Who knows.
-
🍺 Added a cooldown to the drop beer mini-event, so it does not trigger again right after triggering it.
-
🚶 Patrons will now leave sooner when the shift is over.
-
🔋 Energy recovery after a shift has been reduced.
We think that’s mostly all… we’re surely forgetting something, or a lot of somethings…
Now, a few words.
First of all, as always, we are truly thankful to everyone who supports this project. And not just in a monetary way. Every kind of support is more than welcome. We’ve received so much love so far that there are no words to thank you properly.
Of course, we also had some idiots around. Even if we mostly ignore them, they also deserve a bit of attention. Sometimes, even in rage or stupidity, people can say something smart… from time to time.
So, thank you, guys. This exists because of you and for you.
Yes, we took our time. A lot of people complained, and a lot of people understood it was okay. But we want to clarify something: we did not take our time sitting on a chair watching TV. We worked our asses off.
Some may say: “Hey, but HS2 renders are easy, you should make more.” That’s just not true, especially when those people talk nonsense without even looking at what was made.
After the initial pause, we came back and worked nonstop. Every month, seeing that we wanted to meet our goals and still couldn’t make it on time, we worked even harder.
The truth is, after spending more than 9 hours outside, we came home and sat down to work on the game. Not for a couple of hours, but for many. On our best days, more than 12 hours. Weekends too, easily more than 24 hours between the two of us.
It took its toll, but it also shows how much we care about keeping our promises. This is not an excuse, and not a “please clap for us” moment. It’s just information.
Up to version 0.2.2, the game has around 6 hours of gameplay. Of course, you can rush it in maybe 1 hour, or you can take your time and play more than 20. But let’s say it averages around 6 hours.
Now, 0.4.0 easily has more than 12 hours of gameplay. And I say easily because if you play it normally, it’s probably over 20 hours. We did a super rushed test, skipping almost every seen scene, and it still took me more than 14 hours to almost reach the end content.
To make it clearer, now that we added the Diary to track content:
-
0.2.2 had around 45+ events
-
0.4.0 has almost 150 events
So yeah… almost triple the content.
It took a lot. And even then, we still didn’t add everything we wanted. The new systems, the minigames, all the testing, crafting, and thinking… you know the drill.
So this is it. The update is done, and we hope you enjoy it. Some may say it lacks content, others may say it’s really good. We think it’s good. We think the length is worth playing, and we think it makes sense.
But of course… we’re not the ones to judge that.
You are.
Now, one last thing about the release schedule.
We wanted to keep everything free for everyone. But at the same time, many people said (and with good reasons) that Patrons should get real benefits. We added some perks in-game, but honestly, that still didn’t feel like enough.
That’s why we’re changing to a tier-based release schedule. Each tier will get the update at the time stated for that tier.
To be clear: Patreon Tier 1 to Tier 8 will get the update during this release window. Free users will not receive it at that time.
We know this may feel wrong for some users, and we understand that. But there’s also a simple reality: we don’t eat air, we don’t live in the wilderness, and computers don’t run on good vibes. We need money to keep this going. To eat, to pay bills, and to keep improving the game.
We understand this may upset some people, but this is a reality for almost everyone.
So yes, tiers will now give a time advantage over other tiers. We are not sure when the update will be officially released for free, or even if it will.
Please understand that whatever path we take, it’s not personal against anyone. It’s just about covering basic needs and keeping the project alive.
That’s it for now. The update is done, the work is in, and what comes next depends on you.
Thank you for being here, for playing, supporting, and sticking with us.
We hope you enjoy the update as much as we enjoyed making it ❤️
some extra teasers:
