Hello everyone!
So, I've been playing Ai Dungeon, Custom LLM's and Grok since early 2025. I was trying to make a text based RPG with prompts, but even though I get better with prompt engineering - LLM's always messing up with consistency, simple math and numbers.
One day I though to myself "maybe it's good idea to separate narration and world state".
Than I thought "let's create a simple, small, ha-ha, game engine to control world state".
FUCK ME - I would say now.
Half year later and tens of thousands lines of code - I'm not laughing on it's being "game engine". It is a game engine in development. A game engine for one game.
Being a perfectionist myself I wanted to finish it before publishing it. But I ran out of cash and now I question my life choices ha-ha.
So at least I'd like to gather some opinions on how interesting the idea is sounding.
The large problem with building something like that - It's hard to share and explain current stage, because it's basically hell lot of backend logic.
