A Vacation Mode enabled

I have decided to take a one-month hiatus.

I could theoretically post something today (or on any the few previous days this month) just to meet the time-slot deadline, but it would be of a throwaway of poor quality. I don’t want to do that to you guys. I value the money you give me for some good stories.

As much as I tried to put the brakes on it, indefinitely stalling and praying this burnout ends also seems insincere and deceitful to me.

So this is what I’ve come up with. An official pause, to recoup and reframe my approach to my work.

Of course, i won’t be charging recurring subscriptions for the duration of my pause. i repeat. NO BILLING WILL OCCUR FOR THE DURATION OF THIS BREAK.

Most importantly, the point of this is not for me to just coast and ignore my writing, but to be able to solve the burnout issue without the debilitating factor of repeated deadlines. During this time, among everything else, i will be attempting to actually create a backlog of works, so that we won't have to go through this annoying will-there-be-a-post-or-not circus again.

I will also be online to chat with you either in comments or DMs. I love doing that, it doesn’t register as a job to me. Writing is the work. And the work needs some fixin’.
