I was hired to produce a 40 page manga about The Rising of the Shield hero!^^

It's titled The Raising Of Raphtalia 🥰

I had to put the game on the backburner to start planning out all of the pages.

Added another scene to the game!
The theme for this part of the game was testing branching paths and dialog options, which gets pretty complicated to properly manage. Luckily I found a neat writing tool to help me a bunch with that uvu

The next scene that's been added is a handjob scene with the player! Oh yes, we're finally at the point we're we get to touch her~

I also had to fix a bunch of problems I was having with the engine, since it seems I'm kind of pushing the engine a little with how much I'm relying on Live2D for animation. Someone finally made a Live2D plugin for Godot 4 so I'm considering switching to Godot after this game is finished.

I just realized I uploaded the wrong version, fixed it!

I really wanted to experiment with some rudimentary randomized dungeon crawling with some basic quests, so that's what I did! c:

Rather than the previous randomized deck of event cards, which weren't as "tactile" I tried a little system where you explore a random room, and depending on the quest you accepted to get into it you'll be killing slimes or searching for rocks/herbs to complete it. 

Improved dialog customization!
In the previous build customizing the dialog was a pretty finicky process of clicking through all the little dialog menu options. I previously used the engine's dialog options system which worked-ish but was only ever intended for what the name implies.

I managed to move it into the significantly more user friendly into settings menu under its own tab! You can see a proper overview of all the entered customizations, delete specific ones, add new entries, or edit the names and relation. There's even an example sentence to help communicate how it's used. This is waaaaaaaaaaaay better!
