CHANGES TO PROJECT & SUBSCRIBESTAR

Hello! I wanted to give you an update on how I'm going to be working on this game going forward and how the SubscribeStar will change.

Since certain new laws came into effect I have struggled with how exactly to make the SubscribeStar a benefit to you, my Subscriber, seeing as the Selection process can no longer be done. To me, the Selection was the best reason to be a Subscriber.

After some thought I have decided to try a new pathway:

1. Since SubscribeStar is a monthly donation, it stands up to reason that the benefits should therefore be monthly also, at minimum.
2. Therefore, beginning January 1, I will release the most current version of the game every month. It could contain experimental material, it could contain stuff that ultimately gets cut, it could have bugs (this doesn't mean I won't check that it's playable; I will).
3. For the upper tiers of Subscribers, I have something separate for you in mind so I can continue to provide the features that you've come to expect. More on that later.

I need to put in a little more thought as to what tiers get what, but the bottomline is: more updates. As Selection goes, I have ideas, need to figure out the details. If you have thoughts, feel free to message me.

There is a drawback to this workflow change, which is, well, the workflow. Developing the game necessarily means breaking the game. And the more often I have to put out a working version, the more often I have to spend time "sewing it up". So this could slow progress. But overall, I think this could be beneficial.

So: What's coming up?
1. I'm making the Ann path a little more interesting so it may not go to completion come January 1 but that path is definitely the one getting developed right now and the one you will see some of come January. I know I said I'd be back this month; I apologize but please wait just a little longer to January 1!
2. I've introduced the game's first bonus outfit. You need to find pieces of it. Once all the pieces are assembled, you can assign the outfit to your bloodmare!

This is a Quality of Life update. Worldsave has been made available for everyone, however, it remains in beta, and the safest place to save remains the warehouse.

The game now must keep track of a lot more variables, so there may be some nominal increase in load time, but it shouldn’t be that different.

Please remember that most of the game was NOT designed for worldsave so some elements may seem strange. It’ll take some time to work all these bits out.
