Hello! I keep forgetting to announce nominations, plus we have more Subscribers here than before, so, I thought I'd start it today and then launch the new Selection season next Monday.

What is the Selection? Well, as you know, the game offers a variety of bonus feeding options. Those options come from you! Subscribers get to nominate "quarries" and we all vote! Voting takes place weekly over many weeks, between which you keep making nominations. At the conclusion of the season, all the top voted options are gathered together for the finals. The final choice goes into the game in the future.

Here are the nomination rules:

Sometimes there are other rules attached, usually to make each season feel a little different, but that's the gist. 

Any nominees requiring the use of AI models are allowed, but be aware that quality can vary, and these tend to take more time to make.

Howdy! I got some good feedback on the Digimona stuff but I'd like a little more detail, especially since I considered these art and AI assets less than ideal.

Hello everyone! So, I've had some time to think, and I am proposing a new way forward. But first:

I know a lot of the new Subscribers only meant to give temporarily in order to support the project during "Judgment Day". So make sure your cancel asap so you don't get charged. But before you do that, please read the rest of this!

I"ve heard enough feedback to know people want more content faster. I mean, obviously. The difficulty is that it generally has not been worth it for me to do this. That's because-- while more updates usually equals more exposure equals more money-- F95 does not promote unless an update has significant new content. I've made major updates that shrank game size and boot/load time by 75% along with tons of other optimizations but I got no promotion from doing this cuz that wasn't considered worthy of promotion.

So, do I want to update faster? Of course. But it's hard when it's more trouble than it's worth. And I haven't had a way to make it worthwhile.

Until now, perhaps!

Here's what I'm going to try. I'm going to have minor updates and major updates. Minor updates will be more frequent and will be focused on "content". You know, cheesecake. These are aesthetics, scenes, new characters, possible animations, etc. Major updates are new areas, main story line stuff, puzzles, other challenges, etc, which may also include minor update type stuff as well.

The goal will be to update SOMETHING monthly with the intent to update just enough to get promotion. I hope this will also keep the game in a working state more often which hopefully will make major releases more stable and reliable (i break the game a fair amount during development periods between releases)

So. I will still base the frequency of updates on income so I have some kind of guide to a schedule and you have an incentive to donate and to stay on as a supporter. I've already put up the first minor update target. This month, I'm playing catch up on the Selection Vote (will bring back next week) so we'll be focused on incorporating Leah Gotti. The major update will develop Ann's story path in Chapter 5.
