Update #41. v0.2.4 Is Taking Shape: Cameras, Videos, and More


Hello people!
The development of v0.2.4 is moving forward nicely. As many of you already know, this part of the day takes place in the coffee shop, and I've included a small preview in the header of this post to give you a little taste of what's coming. 😏
Over the past few days, I've been looking into video encoding, since some of the clips were appearing blurry. I finally found a way to make them look sharper, though I still need to run more tests to reduce file size without sacrificing too much quality. It's not perfect, but it's the best I can achieve within Unity's limitations using the VP8 format, so I'm squeezing as much quality out of it as possible.
I also took some time to review the results of the survey about the conversation style. With 74% of the votes, the option to bring the camera closer during dialogues came out on top. Those of you who have played version 0.2.3 may have noticed that I've been experimenting with new camera angles and character animations. I also really liked the idea suggested by Patreon supporter Meabe: using closer shots for 1-on-1 or more intimate conversations, and a wider camera for group dialogues.
So I'm combining all of that: the approach Meabe mentioned, plus the more detailed style I tried out in 0.2.3. You'll see this in v0.2.4, and later on I'll update some of the older scenes as well.
And that's pretty much it... Ah, no! I almost forgot! Next week I'll be doing another cross promo! So stay tuned! 😄

Update #40. Version v0.2.3.1 available for Tiers 1


Happy Halloween! 🎃
I wasn't sure if I was going to have time to do it, but in the end, I managed to carve out a moment to prepare a special render for the season and for the Halloween bundle. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it. 😄

Cross-promo: Summer In The City by FlipDaShit

Help Summer Summerson, an eighteen year old girl from the middle of nowhere, to achieve her dream of becoming a professional photographer. After participating and winning an online photography contest, Summer receives an offer for a scholarship at one of the most prestigious art colleges in the country.

But in order to follow her dream she will have to leave her rural home and move into the big city, a new environment she never experienced before. Help Summer tackle this exciting new environment while meeting it's inhabitants and maybe even new friends.

While not all but many of the adult visual novels play with the theme of "corrupting the innocent", this game will take a different route. My goal is to create a game that will leave you with positive vibes only and hopefully a big smile on your face and maybe even a temporarily satisfied libido.

Summer In The City is a wholesome, funny, sexy and kinky adult visual novel where choices matter. The characters establish a sex positive environment around them, where consensual relationships, curiosity and self-determination are celebrated.


The main protagonist Summer will have to deal with some typical coming-of-age drama every once in a while, but nothing of world ending proportions. The story is told via a slice-of-life narrative through a branching story line. The game is mainly focused on female/female relationships, but there is limited bisexual content too, which is 100% optional.

Valve’s Steam has unfortunately rejected Summer In The City recently, so I’m looking for a new home for Summer and her friends. You can help by voting for Summer In The City on GOG’s Dreamlist program. It’s currently at #4 out of over 2000 games in the “Erotic” category with almost a thousand votes gathered. Update #38. 🎃 Halloween Bundles and Other Updates.


Hey everyone!
Today I don't have a ton of news regarding the actual development of the next update, but that doesn't mean things aren't moving forward. The new scene, which was originally meant to be a short moment at the cafeteria, has ended up growing way more than I expected. This has already happened with the last two updates: what starts out as something small ends up expanding because I always want each scene to carry the narrative and visual weight it deserves. So, thank you for your patience! Things are progressing nicely. 😄
In the meantime, there's been a lot going on in terms of marketing and promotion, which (unfortunately for me 😅) are also important parts of the project:
As you might have seen in the image attached to this post, I'm part of a new Halloween-themed mega bundle along with other indie devs. I wanted to create a special render for the occasion, but time is really tight, so I decided to focus on development instead. Still, if I can squeeze in a bit of time, I'll try to put something together.
I'm also still featured in another bundle that launched a few weeks ago, in case you missed it, there's still time to check it out.
And last but not least, this Monday marks my first ever cross-promotion with another developer! 😄 I'm really excited about it. Their game is great, and I think it will be a collaboration that helps both of us reach new players.

Version v0.2.3.1 available for Tiers 2 + Graphic Improvement


Hi everyone!
Today I have a lot to talk about, so let's get to it.
First of all, I have a developer friend who's been asking me for months to remove the "alpha" label from the game versions. My original intention was to keep the "alpha" label until the game could be played from start to finish and had an ending, even if it was abrupt or incomplete, and then move on to the "beta" stage, where I'd work on completing all the decision branches and character storylines.
However, a player recently told me that after a year, the game is still in "alpha." So maybe my dev friend wasn't wrong, perhaps the audience really does perceive this game as being less complete compared to others in development. Because of that, I've decided to remove the word "alpha" from the versioning and switch to a "v0.x.x.x" format. That means we're now on version v0.2.3.1.
That said, version v0.2.3.1 is now available for Tier 2 and up. This update fixes several issues, such as missing content I didn't have time to include earlier and some visual bugs (this version still lacks a few minor things, like UI elements for interacting with the changing rooms, but those are just details that don't affect gameplay or the story). You can grab it directly from my Discord, or if you prefer, send me a private message here and I'll send you the link. 
But the most noticeable change in this update is a major improvement to the game's lighting, which makes the visuals look significantly better. You can see the difference in the image attached to this post and judge for yourself. Let me know what you think, whether you want me to stick with this new visual style or go back to the previous one. (If there are a lot of mixed opinions or strong criticism, I may need to create a poll.)
For now, this new lighting update will only apply to newly created scenes going forward. Once I finish all the Wednesday scenes and that day is fully implemented, I'll go back and re-render all the previous scenes with the new graphics, and add other improvements like animations and extra scene details.

Update #37. Alpha 2.3 Update Now Available for Tiers 3.


Hello people!
Finally, the Alpha 2.3 update is now available for Tiers 3.
In this new update, we continue with the story, and it's time to visit the nurse's office for a medical check-up. It's going to be a pretty hot moment, so I hope you enjoy it. 😏
That said, there are still some small bugs that I decided to leave in so I could release the update right now. For example, the locker room doors don't have the UI to access them, and I forgot to save some of the decisions you can make with your answers that should be taken into account later. There are also some other minor details that I'll be fixing in the coming days. There shouldn't be too many more issues, but keep in mind that this is still a beta version, so you might encounter a few other bugs. (Feel free to report them to me, either here or on Discord, and I'll fix them).
On another note, I can now publicly release Alpha 2.2.1, which includes the science class, where you'll meet two new characters. Just like with Alpha 2.1, I'm giving Oppaiman exclusive access for a little while, so you can download it from there. If you haven't checked it out yet, now's your chance!

P.S.: I just remembered something else I didn't add in this version, which is updating the names of the patrons who supported me between Alpha 2.2 and Alpha 2.3. I'm sorry about that; it will be fixed in Alpha 2.3.1.

  • Story continuation during the third day: visit to the nurse's office and encounter before entering.
  • Added new character: Megan Dixon.
  • Fixed issue with tooltips. They were broken and not working correctly.
  • Fixed issue with the mobile phone UI, as well as other UIs, where text continued to show while the UI was visible, causing unexpected errors.
  • Fixed issue where scenes would restart when closing certain UIs.
  • Increased the maximum number of characters when choosing the character's first name and last name from 8 characters each to 12. (You may experience visual issues when setting names and surnames over 16 characters, which was the previous limit).
  • Fixed Emma/Emily's name in the science class.
  • Fixed some texts in the first gym class.
  • Fixed issue with resolutions: The game is designed to work correctly in 16:9 resolutions, and other resolutions were being filtered out. Now, if your monitor doesn't support those resolutions, you can choose a resolution from the available options, and it will display a warning about possible visual errors.
  • Fixed issue with Steve's first appearance, where the Constructive attribute was reduced to 1 in a couple of responses.
  • Added a button on the main title screen for the Oppaiman store.
