Crowded and scattered information all round the place helps no one, that's why we have decided to put in one place all relevant information you might need or want to know.
Q: "Why does it take so long for a single update?"
A: After the game's prototyping phase ended we have started focusing significantly more on the quality of the published update, and doing this the time required for each update increased.
Erosion Project is the product of our passion for creating games, passion which started long ago which will last forever. Even though we are investing our passion into this project, it can get difficult for only 2 members (1 Graphic Artist and 1 Everything else) to create quality content in short periods of time.
We do realize this can be a problem for many, and we hope that in a close future we will be able to expand our team in order to diminish this issue.
Q: On which platforms is the game available?
A: Erosion project is available only for PC - Windows, Mobile - Android and Web browser
Q: "What is the ALPHA BRANCH?"
A: The Alpha Branch is the version of the game which is updated earlier than any other branch. Along with frequent updates, this version includes a bunch of tools to make the debugging process easier in case you encounter any issue.
Q: "What is the difference between Alpha branch and Early Access branch?"
A: Alpha Branch = most up to date branch which contains newest features.
Early Access Branch = same build as Alpha Branch but released a few weeks after Alpha Branch.
Q: "Are the save files compatible between different versions?"
A: We are actually trying our best to make the game versions as compatible as possible with each other making various functions to update new content to older saves when you load them. This task becomes more difficult as more versions are released (with new systems), and there are still only 24h in a day. If you would like to help with this process, please contact us.
So far, all save files made from version 0.1.6 and above are compatible with newer versions.
