STORY: Wars, natural disasters, and man-made catastrophes have brought this world to ruin. Humanity split into different camps: those who still fight to survive, and those who have embraced their inner demons and descended into chaos. Only the remaining communities strive to preserve what’s left of civilization behind their high, fortified walls. But nothing is ever that simple — to earn a place there, you first have to prove your worth by serving in one of the factions: Fighters, Botanists, Lawmen, or Gifted. You play as a former Fighter from one of these communities. But fate had other plans — after witnessing your wife’s death, you withdrew from society and chose a life of seclusion with your daughter in a small cabin beyond the walls. However, your plans for a quiet life are suddenly interrupted when someone leaves a mysterious note at your doorstep.​
