Welcome to our Subscribestar page, we are Candy Valley Network, an adult-developer studio currently working on Wild Life - estimated full release: 2024/2025.

Embark on an alluring adventure through the tempting landscapes of Kerpal, including mesmerizing jungles, picturesque waterfalls, treacherous canyons, and sun-kissed beaches. However, beware, as Kerpal is not just a beautiful world, but a dangerous one as well.
As the conflict intensifies, players must be ready to fight, survive and satisfy their carnal desires. Are you prepared for this thrilling and sexually charged adventure?

Game Modes
Story:
Kerpal, a long-lost planet on the outskirts of the inhabited galaxy, has undergone a transformation. Over the last generations parts of the population have unexpectedly evolved into beings that are part human and part animal, forming a new race known as the Kerpali.
Take on the roles of Maya and Max and unravel their story as they face challenges and navigate their encounters.
While some Kerpali factions are at odds, others have found a way to coexist with one another. Centuries later, a group of adventurers and scientists arrive on Kerpal in pursuit of discovery. However, not all of these explorers have pure intentions.

Sandbox:
Create your own world inside Wild Life! Let your imagination run wild with more than 1500 sex animations, character customization, custom object import features, posing tools, and much more!

Development Update 17.05.2024

Level: 
Worked on the material rework - a project-wide task aimed to reduce the number of master materials and clean the project folders.
Working on the new blockout for the Yterra plaza and the Yterra ship interior areas.

Code:
Implemented Long Attack, Jump Attack, Sprint Attack and Special Attack.
Started work on hit behavior including parry, block and stagger.
Animation Editor:
Auto-key feature is done with the option to auto-create new object tracks if they are not yet present in the current animation.
Added object track groups so animations can be better organized. Groups within groups are also possible.
Added bulk delete functionality for object and option tracks.


Character:
Implemented another set of outfits: Ancient Goatman and Umbar Housekeeper.
Started work on Nephali - a member of the Sky Village council based on Geneva's body.
Working on Jekyll’s Blackrock outfit variation.

Animations:
Further work on combat animations. Testing and tweaking combo and staggers together with code and game design. Working on jump attack, sprint attack and special attack now.
Working on some more sandbox sex animations with perspective to be turned into a minigame.


Design:
Started working on the combat AI concept for decision process and editing workflow.

Development Update 10.05.2024

Hey all, welcome to this week's progress report.

Level: 
Working on mini locations in the Apoc canyon.
Working on various location concepts.



Code:
We noticed there were still some issues with our look-at system and have found a new solution that works in any situation, without any instability.
Continued work on the combat system rework; started implementing combat action buffer, which buffers certain player actions for a smoother experience.
Sandbox:
The QoL features continue.
The sandbox save selector supports folders now.
Added a few overlooked attachment bones, bringing the total amount to 543. Also, only available bones on the selected character will show up in the dropdown menu now.
Animation Editor:
Drawing a box selection will move the view now if the mouse is outside of the window bounds.
Keyframe selection is now recorded in the undo history.
Added a search bar to the window for adding tracks to an object.
The selection in the scene outliner is linked to the object selection in the animation editor now.
Started work on a toggleable, experimental auto-key feature, which automatically adds keyframes to the animation when a value or transform of a tracked object changes.

Character:
Implementing the latest batch of outfits into the game for various characters.

Animations:
Work on Max x Denna minigame is underway. Working on stagger animations for the combat system.

Design:
Finished working on Combat Move ActionBuffer / SoftLock / LockOnTarget Design (Update for new Combat System).
Implemented all main-story mocaps into the cutscenes and started the polishing phase for them.

Development Update 03.05.2024

Greetings everyone, it's time for our weekly progress report.

Level: 
Kick off for iteration of the Yterra blockout.
Working on organizational tasks regarding our freelance artists.
Working on a mini-location in Adûn.
Proceeded with mini location cave blockouts.
Iterating the Yterra blockout.
Code:
Combat hit detection is functionally done. Worked on weapon item editing workflow and movement during combat moves.
Sandbox:
Lots of QoL features:
Auto-expand for dragging an object onto another in the outliner will only trigger if the reorder above/below indicators are not present.
Using the search bar in the character selection will collapse all character presets that do not match the filter now instead of graying them out.
Added text alignment options for UI Text and Speech bubble.
Added new Lua function wl_set_object_name.
Material editor and undo history are draggable/resizable windows now.
Attachment selector has been improved with visual feedback and being able to click directly onto the desired bone in the scene.

Character:
Almost done with Taruk’s model. More work on various outfits.

Animations:
Further testing and iterating on attack animations. 
Started work on stagger animations for the combat system. 
Exported the last few NPC routine animations, so this huge task is now finally done.

Design:
Combat System: Continued to work on Ranged Combat (Technical documentation, Special cases).
Action Buffer v2 - Buffering both target and direction (for soft lock during attacks) also buffering quick items (e.g. for potions during combat).

Development Update 26.04.2024

Good day all, welcome to this week’s progress report.

Level: 
We started working on mini location asset design and are finishing up the B blockout for Adûn 
and working on the transitions from Adûn to other regions.
Code:
Continued with combat rework, currently working on hit detection. 
Sandbox:
116 Attachment points were not enough? Try 515!
Experimenting with bone controllers which can modify and offset the transform of any bone on any character in any state (player, character, pose, sex scene).
Added bulk-rename functionality
All events of an object can be copied and pasted to another object now.
Prototype props have a toggle to affect the lighting with emission even when invisible (Lumen only).
Improved the look of poses, specifically around fingers and the hip.

Character: 
Finished work on Solenne - a Sky Village council member (human female)
Started working on Taruk, a farmer from Umbar (pigman).
Multiple outfits are being worked on at the moment.



Animations: 
Working closely together with Game Design on a first set of improved combat animations.
Transferring dialogue emotion animations to other characters.


Design:
Working on blockouts for mini location caves all over the world map.
Further refining the different design aspects for the combat system.


Quick heads up for anyone who is interested: We are collaborating with Xsolla on Cloud-gaming development and are running a test to see if we can make Wild Life more available on lower-end hardware through that. If you want to be a part of that you can check out the info on our discord.
