Please be aware this is still very much a work in progress, so there is still much to be added and improved upon, with new and improved features to be eventually implemented in time for the full release. We really hope you enjoy the current content and look forward to the finished product to come in the future. Thank you for all your continued support.

Greetings, Dungeoneers! I am Pug, and this is another exciting Fur Quests update.
With the day and night cycle up and running about as well as it is going to in RPG Maker, it is high time we added some of the immersive elements people have been asking for quite a while. The first of these is farming! We've commissioned quite a few handmade assets to help the World of Fur Quests really come to life, and we've just added nine of them in the game to help maintain your health and mana. We also added potatoes to provide you with food, but, well, we've not fully implemented that feature just yet.
Up until now we've been using the city of Cliffshade as a testing ground for a lot of systems and techniques to enhance the game, and we finally feel confident enough to put it to the test! We still have some more work to do with implementing the quest line which introduces the farming as well as some other fun elements we'll talk about in the next public update.
But the plan is that once this quest line is finished and these systems are put into place, we will go through all of Cliffshade and start removing all of the placeholder dialogue, and polishing up the whole experience before finally opening up Cliffshade to the public this summer.
With the finalization of Cliffshade, we will start focusing on the most heavily requested feature of the game, and that is the dating sim elements. Before now, all of the ladies of Fur Quests have been camping in one spot, and you just talk to them until you get to the good part.
Again, this was to test out the systems of a dating sim, the progression, the branching paths, and variables. But it was very simple, it felt wrong, and not very engaging to just sit down and talk to your companions over and over again until you reached the end.
That will all change with Cliffshade, where you can only have one companion accompany you at a time and allow the player to bond with them in a much more personal way.
This has been a long time coming, so we'd like to thank our generous supporters over at Patreon and Subscribestar, who have not only been very patient with our progress but also been incredibly supportive through all of this.
Greetings, dungeoneers! Pug here, back with another Fur Quests update!
With the hardest parts of my 3D studies behind me, I am finally in the right headspace again to polish up the scripts and systems that have been languishing in the game for too long.
Sadly, the bug that sometimes makes the day and night cycle effects glitch out seems to be a hardcoded issue in RPG Maker. I tried to mess around with multiple plugins and even a bit of hand-coding, but at best, it would fix one thing and break five more. So, that may have to remain a glitch in the game until we find a better engine to host the RPG in.
Until then, we will continue to use RPG Maker for practice and for a chance to build up our asset library. I am still hard at work creating 3D character sprites, and Fae is currently hard at work making some brand new lewd scenes for the RPG. In fact, she has already made three, the third of which you can find over at our Patreon and Subscribestar this Saturday.
They will eventually appear in the game with the rest of Fae's wonderful art, but these were made by special request from some of our higher-tier backers, so we felt obligated to prioritize them. It is thanks to our wonderful backers that we've been able to get the tools and education we need to make Fur Quests into the best game it can be.
However, with that out of the way, you can expect many more fun new scenes and illustrations in the weeks to come.
But until then, thank you all for your love and support.
