A sincere word from me

I am DogCat. I have a B.Sc degree in software engineering, and I am a software developer engineer working for one of the biggest companies in the world. I have over ten years of experience in the web development cloud development industry. However, developing web applications is not my passion. My passion is art and games. I am an artist at heart and have always been interested in 3D art. My dream is to make the transition to a game developer. Therefore, I started developing The Power Of Truth.

I am the sole developer of The Power Of Truth, a visual novel. It has important choices, beautiful art, animations, story, and mini-games. As a sole developer, I write the script, I write the code, I choose and create the models, I create the art and the animations, I choose the music with the right license, and I work in my own free time on developing The Power Of Truth.

Developing The Power Of Truth has been an amazing experience so far. It's challenging and rewarding at the same time. The most important thing is that I do what I love. I create art daily. I write a story that I want to tell. I direct a scene. I write code. I am doing everything I ever dreamed of.

Development Update Chapter 1 Part 2

Hi everyone, and good day to you,

This update will be longer than usual. I want to consult with you about an important matter, so I'll split it into two parts.

1) Release date
Several people asked about a release date for part 2, and the reason I haven't given it yet is because I didn't know my render goal number before releasing it. Another reason is that a release date in the early stages of the development will cause me to push myself to make errors and compromise on quality (and I won't compromise on quality) to reach the date I gave. I might need to push the date because I couldn't make it (we all know what happened with Cyberpunk 2077).
My ultimate goal is to release a 1500+ render count, which can take time—considering that now the render count is ~500. So, after thinking about it and consulting with a good friend, I think I will release a smaller portion of the game that will contain about 800 renders. It will probably have 3-5 scenes and 1-2 LEWD animations, unlike a full-part release containing 1500+ renders and 3-4 LEWD animations, but it will take time. That also means fewer special visuals for a smaller part release.
I want to get your opinion; which one do you prefer?
1. ~800 renders with 1-2 LEWD animations that I can deliver faster - I will be ok with that
2. ~1500 renders with 3-4 LEWD animations that will take more time to deliver - I will satisfied with that

Development Update Chapter 1 Part 2

Hi everyone, and good day to you,

The scene is officially wrapped. I finished the last renders for it and added a new animation. I have already started producing renders for the new scene, and soon, I'll set up a new environment for it. I am excited to continue to the new scene and see the script unwrapped. I am pretty satisfied with most of the renders I have produced. As always, I'll give them another look before adding them to the project in the quality assurance phase.
