An amazing year, and more to come!
It has been a really amazing year. Last Stand of Ra has gone from it's infancy to near completion. At the same time Inheritance has grown in leaps and bounds. And it's all thanks to all the wonderful people who have helped out in their own ways. We've had talented writers submit content for the game. top notch coders helping make it all work, exceptional artists creating art for our games, the amazing community of players who take the time to report problems so they can be fixed, and the supporters who ensure we can afford to pay the bills and commission new art. I couldn't be prouder of the community that has grown around these projects, you really are one of the best communities I've ever had the privilege of being part of.
What are we looking at for the next year?
* Last Stand of Ra is nearing completion. I'll be focusing heavily on that project for the next week or two in an effort to complete it.
* We have additional help on the code front. We are hopeful that with this help we'll be able to start implementing many of the major elements we've been working toward.
* Once Last Stand is done, I'm going to focus on Inheritance for a while. With everything going on, I want to be able to focus my attention on the project until we can get some of the elements we've been working toward into the game and writing content for those elements. As we clear some of the major hurdles related to Inheritance, I'll start considering what comes next as a secondary project. I've got plenty of ideas.
* As we have always done, we'll continue to commission new art proportionately to the support we receive. We've seen three years of growth, sometimes slow, sometimes rapid, but we've always been trending upward.
* And most importantly, we intend to continue pouring our love and energies into these projects in order to keep bringing all of you the best games we're capable of creating.
Thank you, each and every one of you, for being a part of our growing community and for taking part in making it one of the best communities out there, period. I'm very excited about the coming year, we're going to see some amazing new content as our projects grow and evolve toward what we envision. Have yourselves a wonderful New Years!
