Early Access Announcement

tl;dr: Main content, like Sultry Summer, will still be uploaded on Fridays and stay on a 1 week early access. Works in progress, like sketches and lines of unfinished content, will remain exclusive for subscribers. Subscribers will continue to receive everything else at time of completion, but free versions will be released to the public on Mondays in batches that vary based on the type of content. Illustrations will be released on the second Monday of the following month, and comics will be released in batches based on how many scenes the comic has.

For those interested, the details of my decisions can be read below.

Hello everyone. I've finally decided how I want to handle early access for content, and I'll be explaining it here. First off, works in progress, such as sketches and lines for unfinished content, shall remain exclusive for subscribers. Sketches or lines that I do not plan to work on further are considered complete and are exempt from this.

My main weekly comic, which at the time of typing this is Sultry Summer, will have 1 week early access for subscribers. I've experimented with a variety of early access models over the years and feel that works best. I still plan to release everything for free in time, as I view this platform as a place for subscribers to support the ongoing creation of content, and not to purchase a specific chunk of content. No amount of delay changes the fact that subscribers gain access to all content with their initial subscription, which means from then on there is no noticeable difference if they received one extra page or four.

Extra content will be handled differently. At the time I got this page I was already using my weekend time on site content, but that was about to change as I was going to start slowing down to focus on other things that could be monetized. Now that I can fund my site content with this Star page I will be able to resume focus on its content without worry, and I want my content releases to reflect how your subscriptions help with production.

Subscribers of course will continue to receive content as it is produced, but free versions will be released in batches when certain points are reached. These will be released on Mondays so as to not compete with my normal Friday updates. Illustration batches will be released monthly, on the second Monday of the month. This means if in December I do 5 illustrations, all 5 will be released in a single batch on the second Monday of January.

Comic batches will be based on the extent of the comic. A short comic around 4 or so pages would likely be uploaded publicly on the Monday after the full comic is complete. For more extensive comics, I would upload batches following the completion of certain scenes. For example, a comic like Supervision had the introduction scene, then a voyeur/masturbation scene, then a blowjob scene, then a sex scene, then the conclusion. This means that it would be released for non-subscribers in 5 separate batches, each uploaded the Monday after the entire scene has already been completed and uploaded for subscribers.

I feel this batch system both allows me to easily provide opening samples of what is being worked on in my Star page, and best embodies how I want to use the platform. Subscribers get sneak peeks and early access to everything while it's being made, then as it's completed, and thus officially been funded, it can then be released publicly.
