Hi there, Kirakk here! I am a freelance illustrator, 3D modeler and concept artist. Well most people only need 1 or 2 pieces of art or a quick model to meet deadlines, so not exactly steady pay. And that's where Substar comes in. By using Substars system, I'll be making as much money as the quality of my work will let me. The money will in turn help to make my projects even better and let me get a caffeine iv drip installed. It's a much more manageable and flexible system and is a godsend for animators and artists alike. Some of the money will be used to keep my day to day life going, while the majority of it will be turned back into the equipment and maintenance costs for commissions and other content for you.
