April just flew by so let me update everyone on the progress made on Goop Troopers.

The tentacle sex scene is almost complete, I am sorry I failed to have it ready in time this month. There are 6 more frames of leg holding tentacles and then the climax tentacle to finish and the animation is done. I made some mistakes while working on this animation and learned better methods to achieve effects I wanted more efficiently in the future. I appreciate your patience for this matter and I want to assure you a new build is coming soon.

Whenever I got tired of working on tentacles I would slip in some simple progress elsewhere in the game. In the upcoming build you will have access to screen clearing bombs and the ability to pause the game.

Pausing is very self explanatory, it was a simple night of coding to add the functionality and what it adds in convenience is huge. The other upside is the ability to pause defeat animations and catch your favorite frames! I'm trying to come up with a great Konami style pause sound to add to pausing.

Screen clear bombs are also added in the upcoming build. They need some tweaking and resource tied to them because I have them on infinite for testing purposes. They still have some bugs but I think they will be fun and a necessary element for me to consider designing around. If you blow up the huge wave of goopmen from stage 3 the audio stacking makes a horrible noise!

Both pausing and bomb need to have custom keys setup for use as well as configuration and as I add buttons I need to start offering gamepad configuration soon.

I need to hook the tentacle scene up in the gallery and unlocks progression. What is interesting is the gallery will be the best place to see the tentacle scene zoomed in as the locked camera during boss encounters prevents it normally!

There are bits of updates here and there that I am excited for you guys to see. I don't think I have published a build with the boat available to fight players yet. I want to apologize for how tunnel visioned I have been on finishing this tentacle sex scene. I thought I was closer to the finish line along time ago and now that I am actually nearing it i can see how wrong I was.

I have not experienced any burnout working on any facet of this game. When code isn't working I just want to try harder to fix the issue, when art doesn't exist I know I can make it even if it takes time. Your ongoing support tells me that it isn't for nothing and that if I keep working there are people that want to see it finished as much as me!

I want to get this scene out and released, I want to finish stage 4, and I really want to expand out the types of enemies fought in stages.
