A commission that I think might just round out round 1 of my month of commissions lol. This lovely model wants to make it big, but what is she willing to sacrifice... My only regret is not painting a casting couch in the back. Big thank you to my commissioner! :3
So! Things are starting to improve. I'm wondering if I should take more commissions, or pivot a bit. I'm adding a poll here to get your valuable feedback. A part of me wants to take more commissions, so if I do this, then I'll keep on keeping on.
Another part of me would like to dedicate a few months to making an RPG game. I have a pretty good idea, albeit a bit basic. Either path would likely still afford the occasional personal piece, but I don't think i can take commissions and do a separate game's worth of art at the same time. It's worth mentioning I may end up with just a pile of themed art and a broken game, but I dunno! Might also end up with something I could sell on Steam.
So yeah! Let me know your thoughts. I will definitely take them into consideration!

Visual novel type RPG might be the easiest to work with at first. Especially with the choose your own adventure element. At the minimum it would give you a solid base to work off. As well as consolidate the story, dialogue, and art.

Wish we could have multiple votes. Why not both the game and commissions? Also have you made a short game before?
I'd check out The Portopia Serial Murder Case for little bit of inspiration for the RPG. Given the age it shouldn't be too difficult to replicate or adapt parts of it.
