Daft Punk Forever
So Daft Punk has decided to call it quits after 28 years. I’ve been a fan of theirs for 20 years. I’m not sure what introduced me to them first, the GAP commercial featuring Juliette Lewis, or when Nickelodeon promoted “One More Time” back in 2001, along with other chart-toppers like Sunshine Anderson’s “Heard it all Before.”
I’ve mentioned before that Daft Punk got me into electronic music, starting with techno, then house, then drum & bass, then electro, and so on and so on. Their influence on my cannot be overstated, nor can I really explain in words.
So, from The New Wave to Human After All, thank you for all of the amazing years. It was a blast.
