Developer Update: January 2021

Happy new year! I hope everyone is well rested. I tried to take a break from Dreams of Reality over the holiday period, although as it turns out I still continued writing and scene creation. But nothing like the insane crunch leading up to the ch2:p2 release.

I'll give you a breakdown of where I am with the development of Chapter 3 in a moment. First I want to touch on a new series I will be running along side Dreams of Reality. This is a non-canonical story featuring Jacob (our friendly neighbourhood police officer). It will not be a playable visual novel rather it will be a story with some picture elements added to it.

The story is intended to be short and is very much a back seat to the main Dreams of Reality development. The short story will be available to $10 supporters first, then a month later will be for £5. It will not go below that level of support, and it will not be made public - at least not by me. I want this to be a reward for those that pledge a little more to my development, some of you continue to support at higher tiers every month and I'm really thankful for that. This is just a little something to say thanks.

I'll continue to add some more 'let's render' videos, however I will be producing a few 'tutorial' guides, these will be shorter in length and focused on one particular topic. The first will be on ghost lighting.

Nvidia's worst kept secret is that the 3080TI is reportedly due to release soon. This would be a massive step up in my rendering production. For now it's just a pipe dream, but I'm working towards it. There's also some animation assets I've seen that I'm considering purchasing. These will (after some tweaking I'm sure) add a more interesting edge to the lewd scenes In Dreams of Reality.

The next rendered image will be up to supporters. I'll be adding a poll with each character, the top two will be in the scene together that I create. Sorry TD, Sebastian will NOT be an option! Remember those who support at £20 or more will see a more lewd version of the scene.

Current Development breakdown:
Script: 13836 words
Rendered Images: 104
Scenes to render: 37
Animations: 2
Code written: 437 lines

Jacob's story should be available in the next couple of weeks, and the poll for the special render will be up during next week.

Stay safe,

Cenc
