A willing vein, a simple shot; that's all it required. It took effect quickly. As anticipated, the subject quickly lost lucidity, sinking into a half-responsive haze. Dancing pupils dilated, transforming the lab into a fuzzy halo of shifting lights. He sagged to his knees, eyes unfocused and wandering.
Ilya caught him before he slipped further. Supporting his weight, he ran a gloved hand up the subject's leg, testing for a response. The subject shivered and turned his face toward Ilya, not seeming to see him so much as search for him. The drug was intended for interrogation - lowered inhibitions, eagerness to please, inability to weigh decisions properly, all of it needed testing. Earlier version of the compound had proved effective, but incomplete. The sensory overload was too much, and it seemed this version was no better.
Ilya released his shoulders and watched him waver, then tip backward. Once again, he caught him before he could fall further, but kept his weight off-center.
Well. If this trial had failed, no reason not to have some fun with the remaining duration.

The black-haired character, Ilya, is a shady black market alchemist and surgeon. Here he's...uh. Testing out drug effects. I decided to make a couple versions, since I liked some of the anatomy but also wanted to draw clothing.
