Weekly Update


Time for another weekly update! Lots to talk about this time haha.
So first thing's first, this week will be the public release of Jikage Rising v0.18! Lots of people seem to be interested in that so I thought it would be best to mention it haha. While we're on the same page, I wanted to let you guys know that I got someone to look at the code for Jikage Rising! For those of you that took a look at it would probably know that it ain't exactly the prettiest code in the neighborhood, but since we have a bit more funding now, I think it would be a good time to hire someone to take a look and improve it, which hopefully, will lead to a better and smoother experience for you guys! The downside to this would be that the old saves might not be compatible, but I'll try to get some stuff in that will hopefully make the experience better!
As for the updated sprites, we're reading the feedback and are working on the sprites! There are more than a few conflicting opinions, so we'll have to go with the majority consensus in this case! Think that would work best in this case!
I'm also working on The Star Cove incident at the moment, testing out some stuff and getting some stuff done, might get a super rough demo up if I make it on time, mostly just to check what you guys think of the setting!
That should be about it for this week! I'll see if I can get the revised sprites for Jikage Rising up as well as the some peeks for some art in The Star Cove incident!
