Development Log – May #2: Votes, Visuals & the Road to Beta
Hey loves, Jesse here 💜 It’s been a busy week — full of updates, hard work, and exciting decisions. In this devlog, I’m bringing you all the highlights: what you voted for, what we’ve built, and what’s just around the corner. Let’s take a quick look behind the scenes of Project Atmosphere...
📊 Poll Results Are In!
We recently asked for your thoughts on two exciting polls — and here’s what came out!
First, we asked whether you'd like to see our girls in Virt-a-Mate.
The response was clear: a strong majority of you are interested! Because of that, we’ve already launched the follow-up poll where you can now vote on which girl will be ported first — between Phoebe, Monica, and Susan.
The winner was Vanessa, with Amy as runner-up. As a reward, Vanessa will receive 6 exclusive renders, and Amy will get 3.
🚧 Beta Incoming — And We're Almost There!
The team has been working non-stop behind the scenes — and we’re happy to say that the beta version is just around the corner.
Over the past few days, we’ve been preparing everything needed to make this beta special. Post-processing is done, and coding has already started — which means we’re now in the final stretch. If everything goes as planned, the beta will be released in approximately two weeks.
While we’re keeping the deeper surprises under wraps, we can already confirm that this beta will include Phoebe & Rosa’s scene, Yui’s event, and the first part of the new main story event — some of the most anticipated content we’ve prepared so far.
The rendering for the all the beta content is now fully complete. We also wrapped up reward renders featuring Phoebe and Rosa, and created exclusive in-game gallery content with Yui, Mia, Vanessa, and Amy.
We’ve also completed all the character portrait renders for the in-game bios of the characters appearing in this release — adding even more polish and personality to the experience.
On the visual side, we’ve also been experimenting with Blender to push the render quality even further. The difference is noticeable — richer lighting, smoother details, and more immersive scenes across the board.
These renders were crafted with real attention and passion, and we truly believe you’re going to love what we’ve prepared.
