I have officially begun work on my first Visual Novel.

I am proud to present to you: Damsels and Dragons.

This is planned to be a multi-volume epic journey that follows our MC from his boring and lonely life, to a fantastical journey in a new world filled with wonder and magic.

Coming this summer, follow the tale of Damsels and Dragons.

I'm being extremely vague right now, because I do plan on getting the prologue out in the very near future to provide a taste of what's to come.

I am unsure how frequently I'll be able to release, but the goal is to develop 1 to 2 hours of gameplay per path across 3 to 5 paths per release.

I am a one person shop, with a full time job, and I'm doing all my own writing, coding, graphics, and (at some point) animation. I do plan on adding audio in the future, but I don't have time right now to create, record, or even shop for, much less listen to, sound packs. I do intend to reinvest earnings from my Patrons into improving quality, and am always interested to listen to advice or suggestions for those who wish to share.

I have much of the early story detailed, a long-term plan mapped out, and am well on my way to releasing the initial prologue and "Chapter 0". These will be mini teaser releases with the first full demo including much of Chapter 1, which will be free. All future updates will be released according to the milestones mentioned above, and the next free update will not be released until enough new releases/chapters have been released to fulfill the stages outlined in my tiers. As the first "post-demo" release comes out, it will be made available to all paid tiers, but the lowest paid tier will not immediately receive the subsequent official release. This cycle will continue through each tier until enough releases have launched to complete the tier release ladder as outlined in the tier descriptions. After the ladder is fully assembled, each tier, including public, will increment by 1 release version as each new version is made available.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to going on this adventure, so pack a bag and come along!
