We are finally up and running! Pre-release content looking to drop this weekend, will post as soon as its up.

That being said, we still have a lot to do. We have a list of items that will be coming, but seem to be taking forever to complete (we are working with volunteered time, so we will take what we can get!)

For some reason we are still locked... but no matter! We are moving ahead with an early release int he next 2 weeks. Once it is up we will leave this link open, but will also have to go to alternative sites for support. Hope to see you then!

Great news! It looks like SubscribeStar is getting things back up and running!! We will be be bringing our team back online to wrap up TF 1.0 asap!

It's been a while since we have updated this page - primarily due to the lack of any way to actually subscribe on the platform. We are continuing to develop Tempting Fate and are looking to host it and it's updates on alternative platforms asap.

Introducing Amy, she is a faithful companion of the MC - and a bit of a troublemaker. If you are not careful, she may just get you into some compromising situations.

This is the MC (we plan 2). Her default name is Kait, but you can rename her whatever you like. Kait is a married mother of two, and with this story you can take her down any number of paths. What?!? No bikini shot?! If you want to see her get more comfortable, your going to have to wait for the game!

We are working to post some sample images, but there is some kind of issue with getting them into the preview window. Once we resolve the issue we'll make the updates as promised!

We have pushed into story dev and are working on our art sprint now - we plan to release an early test by 1/15/19 - it will not have much of the functionality we intend to include (our inventory, character stats and minigames are not even close to ready...) and will give you a taste of the story.

So... this is a NSFW game, but just how NSFW?

Well, if you are not into adult themes, you are in the wrong place.

Because we want you to explore the story a bit, we are not going to include spoilers on what you may find there. Frankly, when the first storyboards were complete we had surprised ourselves with just how far some of the content went.

However, there are some things that you won't find in the story.

Note: Things we excluded are in no way meant to make judgements on what people like - everyone has their own thing, and we support any expression that isn't causing harm or breaking the law.

Here is a short list of themes you won't find: - Nothing that is illegal - including simulated rape. - Extreme violence/torture (Other than BDSM) - Incest - Scatology - Furries (sorry, not even sure how we would pull that off! ;) )

So, as you can see, the list is pretty short. We may change it based on what we may learn in the future, but for now, that's it.

Lastly, you can go through this entire game and have a highly erotic experience without ever triggering nudity. What you see and do are your choice! We are not going to spring something on you that you have not chosen to experience. So choose well!

Many of you have seen visual novel based games, but we wanted to get into some of the details around what it takes to build one that is enjoyable, repeatable and expandable. That starts with some broad concepts about what kind of game you'd like to offer... and more important, what kind of game people want to play.

So what kind of game is this? In Tempting Fate, you will initially play from the perspective of the main character (MC), who happens to be the woman pictured on our intro screen :). Soon, we will be completing the story and art for a Male MC option, but that will come after we wrap up the first release of the female MC.

How did we start? With a pen and paper... then some whiteboards, then some concept art/ideas... then a long stall so we could decide on art style, 3d design, game engine, etc..

After some time, our team settled in on the Unity game engine, Daz3d, Blender, Photoshop and a few other tools to start building. Our first 5 minutes of actual playable game came after about 2 months of work (remember - this is all part time stuff!).

Right now we have about 90% of the pre-alpha storyboard complete, 75% of the art and maybe 15% of the coding. We are working with someone to move the more complicated aspects of the game along, so we hope to have it available soon in playable form soon.

Right now the game is a linear visual novel that explores 1 of the possible story lines.
