While I get ready to return to actual projects, I'm keeping myself sane by working on my own story in TDM. I decided to separately share a feature that hasn't been done yet and will probably be a significant enhancement: There is now a keypad which can be used to lock certain areas and doors behind codes the player will need to find in readables or around the world. Since this month is paused and I'm not doing any Patreon / Subscribestar projects, may as well post a freebie. Been keeping myself sane by mapping in TheDarkMod: This is a fun new FM I started working on last year, made quite some progress in a couple of weeks albeit it's still far from finished... planning to test a few things including the relatively new Werebeast (werewolf) for an interesting story. I'm also working on a campaign inspired by the first DeusEx game, it I'm aware I won't have time to finish in this lifetime but still fun to play around with trying. As usual TDM is non-commercial so this is a public post distributed as on any other blog, it should not be considered a supported project in any capacity.
Wanted to take a break from working on the anthro model and Blender stuff for a bit. Got back to my favorite FOSS game of all times, TheDarkMod. Working on a new map / mission which is turning out to be one of the most massive projects I've made for it so far!
This FM is going to feature three city hubs the player can travel between, completing several missions around the various cities apart from the main objective. It's also going to have an interesting story I think folks will like. This is a shot of the forest area which connects the first two cities, last two images are after it starts raining once you're halfway throughout the game.

Figured I'd show some progress on the player damage / augmentation mod I'm working on for TheDarkMod. The plugin is still in development with a few things left to do but it's getting there. Once ready it will allow TDM players to enhance their character with various upgrades (similar to DeusEx) further paving the way for the cyberpunk modification I've been dreaming about creating for this game. The screenshot shows the items you'll pick up in order to upgrade the player.
