I've really struggled nailing down a final style that's consistent. I tried going more sketchy, moving away from my old inkwork and grey flat shading, but I keep coming back to this. I think this is just what I do. I really should have spent more time over the years working on my art skills and less drawing lazy internet wack-off material, but I've never actually made money doing art, and I think having a deadline and a boss is what makes you focus on something properly. If I'd gotten a job drawing comics early on things might be different, but then I'd probably just be one of the guys getting fired from DC right now and wondering what the hell I'm going to do for a living. ANYway, I've got this first page to the point where I can live with it, and I'm going to move onto cleaning up the other 19. I feel bad for Miles, He's written out this big story outline and I'm crawling to catch up with even his first chapter. But then all he's got to do is write something like 'put big battle scene here', I'm the one who has to draw 1000 naked orks on siege towers.
