What's the Difference Between Original Png Image Versus Compressed Webp?
The left side is the original PNG file and the right side is the compressed lossy Wepb. The original image contains 1.44 MB while the compressed lossy Webp only contains 147 KB in which is clearly a big difference in their sizes. However, if the scene is darker, you should be able to see the quality difference of the two without zooming in.

Now let's compare the difference when daylight. The left side image is the original PNG file again and the right side is the compressed lossy Wepb. The size of the original image is 1.74 MB unlike the compressed Webp is only 214 KB, which make it crazier is that you can't tell which of these daylight images is the original.

UPDATE!!
The third image is the comparison between the original PNG and lossless Webp. The left image is the original PNG file which has a file size of 1.44 MB. On the other side, it is the lossless Webp in which has a file size of 893 KB. It is clear to see that there is no noticeable difference between the two except the file size.

My Conclusion:
We have to take advantage of these two lossless Webp and Lossy Wepb format to reduce the size of the game while maintaining the quality. I understand that compressing the original PNG to lossless and lossy Wepb will take some of my time and effort but that's okay as long as I can release my game every month, that's what matters the most.
