The time has come! (And so am I!)

This is the final patch for the translation of Thief and Sword, I'm very happy to finally release final part of this project!

In this patch I worked on:

-Final revise and translation on sex scenes (24 in total)
-Fixing some goddamn command lines
-Translation and editing of some images
-Translation and editing of all ending images with credits to my old patrons and my new supporters on subscribe star (everyone who joined by the time of the project was worked on, received proper credit)
-Fixing and translating the titles from the macros of the sex scenes
-Line breakers in every required file in story and sex scenes.*
-Translation of macros.**

*The game doesn't treat line break properly in dialog boxes, it's normal in this game that sometimes the dialog box will change its size, so even after I made the log of all text in the in-game perfect, these constant changes in box size will fuck up the line break, just like it'd do when playing in Japanese. (I'll try to make a patch to fix this)

**This was the first work of Yukari in a game like this, so macros are all over the place in the game files, I did my best to find them all but two of them escaped from my grasp, I'm sorry for that.

Also, I revised the story, checking for grammar mistakes and mistranslations.

Translation notes:

+ A few Japanese <DEAD END> texts are in the third person for some odd reason, I chose to translate a few of them like the original format.

+ Willpower or Mental strength check is just another roll.

+ Acquired Titles screen = Don't even bother!

Happy new year! 2020 was a year full of surprises, good and bad ones. My life was a rollercoaster, I worked like a fucking dog, but I'm glad that everything went well.

Now it's the time for the final patch (part 1) of TAS:

"The details of this patch will be in the patch notes"

- All Raika's story is now properly translated, I re-translated and revised everything I could, so, there are major changes in the story and characters, especially Horace and Sirian.

- Also, I re-translated and revised every cg that appears in Raika's branch. (The revised version of es45, es47, es48, es49 and es51, are not finished yet, I'll release a patch after to complete them)

- All acquired items, flags, dice rolls information, status information, and command lines of Raika's branch were properly translated (and some fixed).

Sorry for the wait, but I really needed to take my time to translate this, there's no macro for names, so every name on the story or sex scenes was needed to be translated one by one, and don't even get me started on the nonsensical flags. The sex scenes are freaking huge and they can take a lot of time, don't get me wrong, I like to do these things but I don't stay in my house translating every day and 2020 wasn't especially kind to me, hahaha...

I'm already working on the second part of the patch that includes:

-lines break
-translated menu macros
-the rest of cg revised
-credits, arena and others images translated

So, after getting on my job, that I thought it'd be until February, I got sick, really sick, but it's not corona I think, just the worst flu in my fucking life.
I got so unlucky that I was shipped back to my place and I couldn't take my USB driver that contains the final part of my revision (yes, I was translating while doing the other works too). So now I'm debilitated, lost my files -temporarily- and lost my job there, just my luck.

Enough of me, I not fond of drama.
I'll remake and deliver the final part of the revision this month, it's my personal challenge. Thank you very much for understanding.

Wow, its the end of September already...
Good news and bad ones, the good news is that in October the TAS full revise on Raika's patch will be released, and the bad news is that I'll need to temporarily reduce my work speed until I got back from seasonal work, not much to say really.

As Thief and Sword translation is coming to an end, next post I'll make a list of possible future works to do.

Raika's full revise is complete, I just need to test things out, because this type of game a lot of things can go wrong between the choices. (And yes, I already aware of some errors - syntax and entry-)

This month was a roller coaster, I had to juggle too many things for way too long, but enough of the drama, it's time for the report.

TAS Raika's branch:

This release will complete the game's translation, however, this is not the full revise yet because I'm working on it right now. So, in this release, you'll get the Shalt's route made by rouge translator, Raika's route made by the previous translator and completed by me.

Right now I'm working on a full revise of Raika's route that will contain:
revise/re-translate the story
translation of macros
revise/re-translate the cg
proper testing
lines break

And the last thing, I really wanted to release this sooner, but Patreon bullshit wasted 1 week of mine, and after that, I realized that I had underestimated the length and difficulty of this project.
In my humble opinion, I think that the revise will be necessary, and I hope that you appreciate that too.

My plan for the release continues, I'll release a patch that will fill the gaps of Raika's branch. And after that I'll do a full translation of Raika's branch, revising and re-translating every single file.

Even if I have to start over from zero with my support page, I'll still work at the same pace as ever, worry not.
