Turning 34, Hiatus is Here, Last Day Sale

Given some recent developments, I've gone ahead and decided to start my hiatus early. The baby's due date is today, and though she's cooperating and agreeing to come a little late, there's no way to know HOW late she'll be, so, it seems a better service to you, as my customers, to just be transparent and get things started.

It's also my birthday, so I'm gonna try and do a little self-care while I have the final chance, which I've always been terrible at, but...you know. I'm trying to give things the old college try, like being good to myself and not coming down on myself for complex emotional issues.

Hiatus

This is a very measured break, and it's something I've never done before, so I'm gonna try my best to be a professional about this.

My goal was to take two full weeks off of work after the birth of my child, but finances just haven't come to fruition to make that happen, which breaks my heart in ways that are kinda tough to express. What I'm gonna do, however, is take at least the first week off after her birth (which I will not be announcing until later,) and slowly work myself back into writing, as we get used to having a newborn in the house.

For the sake of actually being with my wife and daughter in the aftermath, I will not be posting anything or answering any messages until May 1st, so that I can work myself back into the full rigamarole of the job again, one step at a time. Thereafter, I should be back to (somewhat) full speed and ready to tackle a new block of commissions.

As of 5:01 PM today, I will not be able to be reached by DM or email on any service, as a proper heads up.

Birthday Sale

It may be my birthday, but it's also the last day of the April commission block and we've still got some words to sell, so from now until 5 PM central, all story commissions are 15% off. Any amount, any topic, anything you want, any commission type (except NDC and super rush, cause I won't be able to do them in the promised time right now,) as long as you get your payment and email in today.

I will grant until tomorrow afternoon for summary emails and payments to be sent, if you're the kind of person who works during those particular hours.

Final Words

I can't thank you all enough for the support, really. I know I probably sound a bit like a broken record at this point, but it's true that while I'm the one putting in the work for my dream, it doesn't matter if there's no sales coming in. All of you are to be held in high regard for what you've done for me.

With these two weeks off in mind, I know I'll be exhausted by being a new parent, but also, I can already imagine how revitalized I'll be to produce content when I have the chance.
